A new hack for iPhone allows MMS on the iPhone first generation and tethering with OS 3.1.2
The group of “liberators” of the iPhone, better known as iPhone Dev Team, has unveiled the new hack for the iPhone that allows users to enable some interesting and want to feature in both new and old generations of the iPhone. Interestingly, in particular a hack of the iPhone 2G baseband called whiterat.
The whiterat allows users to unlock iPhone first generation of MMS, allowing you to send and receive messages with images, can lock on the iPhone update 3.0. Further hack revealed having to do with the ability to re-enable tethering on the new firmware 3.1.2.
The hack was developed on the change of baseband, enables to rehabilitate the tethering initially released in version 3.0 and blocked again in version 3.1.2.
